The best Way to Relax

August 7th, 2008 by admin

Our life is full of different concerns, especially during the college life. Poor students, they have too many things to think about. They have to think about   how to earn money in order to cover the tuition fees; they have to think how to manage to cope with all the material and to pass all the examinations. They have to think how to pay the proper attention to the parents in order they not to feel themselves lonely during the years of your education in college.

That is why from time to time it is just necessary to have a rest from all these thoughts and concerns.  And the best way to have a rest is to make some funny activities. For example, make some funny competitions. Organize all the students into two groups,   and make them to play “Crocodile”. “Crocodile” is a funny students’ game; the rules are as follows: one team is imagining the word, and one of the representatives from that very team shows this word with the help of pantomime. The second team should guess the word. One guessed word is one score. The winner is that team which has more scores.

Make fun, it is the best way for relaxing.

Students’ Fun

August 7th, 2008 by admin

Speaking about the student’s fun, one can tell that it is the best way for the students to relax and not to go crazy because of the amount of information they have to master. Many students, who are really studying hard, need to have a proper rest. Otherwise, such students are running the risk to spoil their heath and psychics.

The kinds of fun are very different. To someone, it is fun to have a soccer game, to the other one it is fun to have parachuting, some people receive pleasure from the picnics, some people receive pleasure from shopping,  some people are fond of sightseeing, all these activities are very good.

However, unfortunately, many students think that the party or having fun presupposes drinking alcohol, and that is a scourge of up-to-date students. Because of using alcohol, the great troubles and even accidents are taking place. Being uncontrolled, in sane students bring harm to themselves and to surrounding people. Moreover, they think that to drive a car being under the influence of alcohol is the greatest fun. Circumstances of that are too serious; the statistic shows that each day because of driving under the influence of alcohol 5 teenagers are dying.

Arranging a Holiday Party

February 8th, 2008 by admin

As with all events, arranging a holiday at your place or at some restaurant or some banquet hall is, undoubtedly, a great exercise of your creativity and organization.

Just like any other event, your party may be as simple and as impressive as you want. Holding a holiday party at your place can be a bit easier on your wallet than a banquet hall and restaurant party.

When to arrange the party depends mostly on your guests’ timetable and must be taken into account when deciding the time as well as the day of the holiday party. Besides, events welcoming spouses, moreover significant others are greatest held on evenings during weekends. Events held on Saturday have a tendency to be more formal, more lavish.

Arranging a Holiday Party at Home

A home holiday party can be much of fun. Besides, it can be rather stressful.

Holidays parties at your place have some sort of “warm and cozy” feeling to them, and they can make socializing much more comfortable and pleasant.

Whether you serve some brunch, lunch, and dinner or cocktails, just take care the quality as well as taste of the meal and drink is the best; this will add significantly to your party experience.

When choosing who to invite, consider the size of the house and that some your guests will perhaps bring their friend or some of them without even asking you. Try to do your inviting all at once so nobody feels like the people who were an afterthought.

Attempt to make provisions in advance. And if you allow your guests to park their cars on the lawn and in your back yard, just inform them in your invitation.

Choose the finger snacks carefully. Select foods which complement each other. Set some theme for your food in every room or on every table. Don’t serve gooey and drippy sauces near dear rugs or furniture.

School Classroom Parties

February 8th, 2008 by admin

In the past two years I’ve volunteered in order to aid in my kids’ classrooms in many different capacities. Actually a room mother for me is the most difficult and challenging volunteer positions I’ve ever held.

As a rule room mothers are responsible for planning as well as hosting parties for the children. Unfortunately, teachers frequently don’t provide a lot of information and guidance, and kids have great hopes for a amusing party.

That’s what I’ve found out over many years to make parties the most enjoyable for everybody involved.

What to Ask your Teacher

Well, you’ve volunteered and you are a room mother… and now what?

You must ask some questions. I as a rule send in a letter with the following necessary questions, but you can also call your teacher and put them.

- What is you as a room parent responsible for?

- If there any other parent helpers?

- How many holidays will in the class be?

- When will all of them take place?

- Is there are any budget or is all the parties based on donations?

- How many kids are in your class?

- Are siblings also welcome?

- Does somebody have any physical or mental disabilities?

- Are there any allergies for some food?

- How much time is necessary for each party?

- When will the party start and end?

- Are any decorations necessary?

- Are such supplies as napkins, cups or plates available through the cafeteria of the school?

- What kinds of activities do you like better for the party? (As a rule there is food, or a craft project, or a few games, however your teacher might have other ideas.)
